Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 4-6 weeks until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend starting with 3 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 4 to 6 weeks between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 3 to 6 treatments are recommend

CLEAN – Use a gentle cleanser, tepid water to cleanse the face for 72 hours post-treatment, and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area, and do not use a Clarisonic or other powered cleansing brushes for at least one week after your treatment.

HEAL – We recommend serum antioxidants post-treatment, as its properties are ideal to help heal the skin by soothing and lessening irritation.

HYDRATE –your skin may feel drier than normal. Hyaluronic Acid is an ideal ingredient you can use to hydrate and restore the skin back to perfect balance.

MAKEUP – We recommend you do not apply makeup for 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. In addition, do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if the brush is not clean.

PROTECT – Immediately after the procedure, your skin professional will apply a broad spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 25 or greater sunscreen to your skin. We recommend a chemical-free sunscreen. Keep in mind that you should continue to use a sunscreen everyday—not only the days following your procedure—as part of your skincare routine to protect your skin from sun damage and premature aging.

To ensure the proper healing environment, do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula) scrubs or anything perceived as “active” skincare for one week post treatment.

Do not use any powered cleansing brushes like Clarisonic for one week post treatment.

Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for 72 hours.

No tanning beds.

Always wear sunscreen.

Do not go swimming for at least 72 hours post-treatment.

Do not exercise or participate in strenuous activity for the first 72 hours post-treatment. Sweating and gym environments in general are harmful and filled with bacteria, which may cause adverse reactions in your skin.

• Do not drink coffee and alcohol on the treatment day.
• Do not take medications contains salicylic acid (example: ASPIRIN, DISPIRIN) 5 days before treatment.
• Do not take blood thinners 5 days before treatment.
• If you are taking medications from the list above, please let us know.
• Follow the instruction below for 7 days after the application.
• Failure to follow the above advice will result in less than desired results.
• Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers; they may have bacteria on them and create an infection.
• No make-up, tinting of lashes or brows, sun exposure, soap, sauna, steam, exercise, jacuzzi, swimming, in chlorine pools or the in ocean.
• No bathing. Continue this regime until the procedure is completely healed.
• Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area while it is healing; pigment may be removed along with crusting tissue.
• Use a “sun blocker” after the procedure area has healed to prevent future fading of pigment colour.
• Touch up visits should be scheduled between 30-45 days post procedure. All PMU procedures are two steps process.
• Results are not determined until touches up applications are complete.
• If you experience any itching, swelling, blistering, or any other complications post procedure, stop using the product and call your technician immediately. You may be allergic to the aftercare product you are using. If you had eyeliner procedure try to not: rub, scratch or irritate your eyes.
• If you have any Questions or concerns, please notify your technician immediately.
• If you experience anything out of the ordinary, please contact your physician.
• Clients need to follow All aftercare instructions for good results of their procedure(s)
• Aloe Vera can pull the colour out of some clients, so we suggest that they do not use this product while they are healing.
• Remember all procedures must HEAL, PEAL and FADE! This process may take up to 10 days.
• Clients colour will look must darker first 10 days as the procedure has blood and lymph in it. After the area peels, the tone will be softer.

Do not use ANY products that contain AHA’s, Retinol A or similar lightening and peeling products in the procedure area. Example: Lactic Acids, Glycolic. (Check your product labelling and read the ingredients on the back of the bottle of product you are using). It will fade your pigment colour.

• Do not use mascara for 7 days post-procedure. When you resume the use of mascara, purchase a new one, the old may have bacteria in it.
• Do not use Your eyelash curler for a few days pre and post procedure. Clean your eyelash curler with alcohol before reusing it to destroy any bacteria on it.
• Do not wear contacts for 24 hours post procedure, wear glasses.
• Do not scratch or rub your eyes.

• If You have ever had chicken pox, a fever blister or a cold sore, you must take Zovirax, Famvir or Voltarex or other anti-viral pre and post procedure to prevent the outbreak of cold sores.
• Do not eat citrus fruits and juices, greasy, salty, oily or spicy foods until your lips are completely healed.
• While eating, do not regularly wipe your lips with a napkin or keep licking Your lips as this will impede the healing process
• Be careful when brushing your teeth. Toothpaste may pull the pigment out of the lip vermilion. Also, do not bleach your teeth while your lips are healing
• Keep lips well lubricated for at least 2 weeks post procedure. (Vitamin A cream, mineral lip gloss is an excellent choice)
• After the initial healing period, apply a total sunblock that is waterproof 3-4 times daily to prevent fading (You may also use Vaseline, mineral lip gloss or Chapstick
• No smoking while lips are healing!

Though fillers are considered safe, there are a few reasons to postpone an injection. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or you’re battling a sinus infection, it’s best to hold off, as any infection in the facial area could spread to the injection site. And here’s one more you might not think about: Don’t get filler right before a teeth cleaning or other dental treatment. These procedures require pressure and stretching of the face that could potentially misplace fillers. Waiting at least a few days, or preferably a week, is ideal.

Most dermal fillers last anywhere from 6 to 9 months, depending upon the patient and where we’re targeting the injections.

Lidocaine, is an anaesthetic that works to decrease pain by temporarily numbing the area. So essentially it a mild anaesthetic. It’ll reduce swelling and ensure a very comfortable dermal filler treatment.

Side effects are minimal or absent. These products have been used safely for many years in a number of medical and cosmetic applications.

When side effects do occur, they are usually very mild, limited to the site of the injection and last less than 7 days. Possible dermal filler side effects include

• To further minimize the possibility of side effects, you should avoid strenuous exercise, consumption of alcohol and excessive sun or heat exposure for 24 hours after your treatment.
